Philips has just released the first set of AI-powered features for SpeechLive, its trusted dictation and transcription solution.
It lets users now send dictations to SpeechLive AI with 4 powerful options:
- Smart Transcript
Choose this option if you want to automatically apply punctuation and basic text editing to your transcript. The Smart Transcript feature allows you to dictate without worrying about punctuation, as the AI automatically places it where needed. Voice commands will further improve the results. Please keep in mind that AI can make mistakes, so always proofread before final use. - Summary
Get a summary of your dictation. You can choose between a quick recap, which gives you a short and concise overview of the content of your dictation, or a more detailed summary, with better formatting for easier reading. - Advanced insights
Gain a more comprehensive analysis of your dictation, including a detailed breakdown of tasks or action items, if applicable. This feature is ideal for more complex dictations or multi-step instructions. If there are multiple speakers, be sure to enable the Multi-speaker option. - Multi-speaker transcript
Use this option for multi-speaker dictations like meetings. Each speaker is identified and formatted with a timecode, much like a group chat in a messaging application.
If you are already using the SpeechLive Speech-to-Text feature, you may be eligible to try out the new AI features for free. Please reach out to your account manager for further details.
For comprehensive instructions on how to use the AI features, please watch the video tutorial below and refer to the SpeechLive help site for more information.
How SpeechLive AI Protects Your Data
When using SpeechLive AI, customer data is treated with the utmost care. Just like with SpeechLive Speech Recognition, the data is not shared and deleted after every process.
Your data does not interact with OpenAI, including services such as ChatGPT or the OpenAI API.
It is also not used to improve, train, retrain AI models. Additionally, your data will not be used to improve any Microsoft or third-party products or services without your explicit permission.
These initial AI-powered features are just the beginning of Philips’ long-term strategy to evolve SpeechLive into a platform that not only delivers advanced speech-to-text but ultimately provides speech-to-results. As part of this vision, Philips will continue to introduce even more AI-driven features in the future, further enhancing SpeechLive’s capabilities and offering users even greater efficiency and results.
