Philips just released some new useful SpeechLive features. Please note: New features will only be available for the new Speechlive web app. If you’re still using the old SpeechLive interface, now is the perfect time to make the switch! Just click the “Try the new SpeechLive” button on the menu bar at the top of the SpeechLive interface.

Custom voice commands

Users can now add their own custom voice commands in SpeechLive:
Define voice commands to insert blocks of text you frequently use. For example your company address, letterhead templates, signatures, disclaimers or pre-written responses.
Voice commands can be used across the SpeechLive Web, Mobile and Desktop apps. They help boost your productivity and enhance the overall user experience.
Here you can find detailed instructions on how to create voice commands.

Audio notifications

Typists can now enable in-app sound notifications for new dictations, and set custom alerts based on dictation priority, ensuring they only receive notifications for the most important tasks. This feature enhances typists’ daily workflow by ensuring they are promptly notified when new dictations are ready for processing.

Create or open a dictation via URL deep link

Users can now create new dictations or speech recognition sessions by entering a specific URL deep link. They can even add additional parameters to the URL to pre-populate specific dictation properties, such as work type, dictation priority and more.
This feature saves authors significant time in their daily tasks, especially when using similar dictation settings. Additionally, authors can now directly access a specific dictation by entering its URL in the browser’s address bar.
Eg you can open existing dictations by typing a URL into the browser, however you need to know the title of the dictation:
https://app.speechlive.com/dictations?search=DICTATIONTITL

More base URLs:
https://app.speechlive.com/dictations?action=newDictation&dictationType=SR
This URL opens the “New speech recognition” window.

https://app.speechlive.com/dictations?action=newDictation&dictationType=dictationThis URL
This URL opens the “New dictation” window.

Please find more instructions how to use deep links here.

Biometric/PIN security on the mobile app

Administrators can now pre-configure the Mobile App via Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) to force users to use biometric or PIN authentication. This ensures a secure rollout of the app within organizations, providing additional protection for sensitive data.
