that has been specially developed by Voicepoint for macOS and is based
on the tried-and-tested speech recognition technology Dragon Medical by
Nuance Communications.
Voicepoint Helium (Dragon Medical One) speech recognition for
macOS is cloud-based and hosted in Australian Azure data centres in Melbourne and Sydney. This allows users to work with the same Dragon speech profile on both Windows and MacOS and user-specific terms and corrections are available straightaway on both systems, regardless of location.
Helium is subscription-based, available as foreground speech recognition, and users benefit from Voicepoint’s guaranteed availability, security and performance.

Voicepoint Helium is a cloud-based solution that has been specially developed for macOS and uses Nuance’s Dragon Medical speech recognition technology. Thanks to its artificial intelligence and the included extensive specialist vocabulary, Voicepoint Helium offers maximum recognition accuracy, both for medical and general
texts.
To ensure optimum recognition and full functionality, doctors use the dictation window and transfer text into the desired destination system, for example a practice or hospital information system. This saves time, shortens processing times and reduces demands on staff.
Quick to install, easy to use
Clients connect to the Dragon Medical server which is installed in the secure and highly-available Voicepoint Cloud. Voicepoint Helium can be used on all devices of a macOS-based infrastructure. The solution is managed centrally and is available to use everywhere as foreground speech recognition, regardless of which practice or
hospital information system is used.

Please note: Voicepoint Helium enables you to run Dragon Medical One speech recognition on any Mac computer, but you will need to purchase the Dragon Medical One software license separately. Or, if you already have a Dragon Medical One license, you can use your existing account.
Note: Dragon Medical One has a minimum term of 12 months, invoiced annually in advance.

Dragon Installation and Training
